LONDON, United Kingdom — Emmanuel Victor Paa Asante, grandson of the late Ghanaian statesman and New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwart Victor Owusu, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Deputy Secretary of the NPP UK Branch.

His declaration marks his entry into the party’s upcoming internal elections in the United Kingdom, where members are expected to elect new executives to steer the affairs of the branch.
Paa Asante’s decision adds to the growing list of aspirants seeking leadership positions within the NPP’s diaspora structures as the party continues efforts to strengthen its organisation ahead of future political activities.
